Time: 2026-09-05Reading Volume: 20

“Can we rig this frame for heavy-lift work?”“Will this platform integrate with our inspection software?”Questions like these kept the EFT Drone booth packed throughout Commercial UAV Expo 2026.Drone integrators, service providers, and users from across the United States stopped by with real needs, looking for hands-on demos and direct technical answers.

Commercial UAV Expo 2026

Held September 1-3 at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Commercial UAV Expo is one of North America’s leading commercial drone trade shows. It brings together professionals across the entire UAV ecosystem, directly connecting global suppliers with local U.S. customers. This year’s conversations clearly reflected the core challenges facing commercial UAV deployment across the industry.

Discussions at our booth revealed a major market shift: enterprise operators are swapping standard off-the-shelf drones for rugged, expandable hardware. Stability and open software integration are critical, allowing operators to easily adapt platforms for hoisting, inspection, power-washing, and training to ensure seamless deployment.

Interactions at the exhibition

To address these needs, EFT showcased two flagship industrial platforms—the X2800 and X950—both tailored to North American industrial environments.

Built for heavy-lift operations, the X2800 drone frame boasts a 200–300 kg payload, delivering powerful structural strength for retrofits like cargo delivery and hoisting. Throughout the show, local drone integrators took a close look at its build quality and modular design, evaluating how it fits into local heavy-lift projects.

For light-load industrial needs, the X950 offers strong flexibility and compatibility. It can quickly integrate payloads like LiDAR and cameras, supporting common tasks such as surveillance and mapping. With its open architecture, the X950 connects smoothly to established local software, allowing service providers to build reliable drone solutions with minimal integration time.

Beyond its industrial platforms, EFT also showcased a broader range of drone solutions. The K20 frame offers flexible expansion for works such as spraying, cleaning, and light logistics. The N680 open-scource drone kit supports training in drone assembly, tuning, and maintenance for vocational programs. Whether customers need PNP kits, ODM/OEM customization, or full RTF units, EFT’s drone lineup provides tailored options to meet diverse project requirements.
